The live classroom education course, which lasts about 6 hours, includes fundamentals:
- Intro to Sunless Tanning & Norvell
- Colorology & The Art of Spray Tanning
- Product Care & Maintenance
The class also includes demonstrations of proper spray tanning techniques.
Free online or live classroom training available with new equipment purchase.
HANDS-ON SKILLS TRAINING*
This is a spray gun-in-hand, hands-on, one-on-one training led by a professional Norvell spray tan artist who teaches proper spray tanning techniques. Appointments for this portion of the classroom training are scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
Hands-on training session lasts approximately 20 minutes.
*Must bring a model to this session to receive hands-on skills training.
HANDS-ON SKILLS TRAINING*
In this hands-on class, you will work side-by-side with an NU Educator who will evaluate your current spray technique, and provide skill enhancement training. Each topic will begin with the student explaining or showing how they currently handle the responsibilities required of a professional spray tan artist, from preparation for the session to the final instruction to the client. The instructor will grade each topic, then recommend ways to enhance those skills. Appointments for this course are scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
